Steve took his first flying lesson in 1974. He soloed on his 16th birthday, received his private certificate on his 17th birthday and commercial on his 18th. He went on to obtain instrument, multi-engine, instructor, instrument instructor, multi instructor and ATP ratings. Having instructed, flown freight, corporate and charter for over 9,000 hours, Steve has piloted virtually every type of piston aircraft including PT-17's, Fleets, Funks and Beech 18's to name a few. He has also logged many hours in various types of turbine equipment and has soloed both gliders and helicopters, which he hopes to add to his ratings as his time permits.
 
 Steve has owned and operated 2 FBO’s and is intimately familiar with the ins and outs of operating aircraft both part 91 and 135, fuel farms, flight schools and repair stations.
 
Steve believes that his vast flying experience has given him the tools and an edge to be successful in the aircraft sales and consulting industry.
